Who we are

A local agency, born at the edge of the desert

Golden Morocco Travel is a local travel agency based in Merzouga, at the foot of the Erg Chebbi dunes. From the desert, we organise private tours all over Morocco: imperial cities, Atlas mountains, kasbah valleys, the Atlantic coast and, of course, the Sahara.

Our idea is simple: to show you Morocco the way Moroccans know it, with driver-guides who know every road, carefully chosen accommodation and an itinerary built around what you want.

Being based in Merzouga means knowing the desert from the inside: the camps, the cameleers, the tracks, the best spots for sunset and sunrise, and the rhythm of the seasons. It also means working every day with the local families and teams who bring the region to life.
